Exclusive: MAGA darling and ex-Trump official Alina Habba to marry Turkish billionaire Saturday
The Correspondent reveals the identity of the man previously described by the Daily Mail as her “mystery man.”
WASHINGTON — Wedding bells will ring internationally on this weekend as former counselor to President Trump and ex-acting US District Attorney for New Jersey Alina Habba is set to wed a Turkish billionaire with business ties to the Congo, Venezuela and other emerging markets.
The two were first spotted together publicly in April at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner — which abruptly ended when a gunman attempted to attack the event. (An attendee reported spotting the now-fiancé jumping over to protect Habba at the time.)
Months later, Daily Mail reported Habba was spotted at DC’s elite Fourth of July party at the Executive Branch private club with a “mystery man” — whom The Correspondent can now exclusively reveal, based on interviews with multiple sources both inside and out of the Trump administration.
Turhan Mildon — CEO of Miller Holding, a global Turkish conglomerate operating in multiple industries including energy and construction — will marry Habba on Saturday at an undisclosed location, four sources told The Correspondent on Tuesday.
Founded by his grandfather in 1967, Miller Holding began in automotive sales and expanded into energy, shipping, construction and international trade.
He specializes in projects in West Africa in mining and energy industries. He is also behind a finance center in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo and has been described as a close confidant of leadership there.
The international businessman also has ties to other international leaders, including Delcy Rodriguez in Venezuela — where he runs a cement business — and Turkish President Recep Erdogan.
Habba became one of Trump’s most recognizable attorneys while representing him in the courtroom before the president’s second election. She later served as a White House counselor and then led the U.S. attorney’s office in New Jersey.
After a federal appeals court ruled that her appointment to the prosecutor’s post was unlawful, she stepped down in December 2025 and took a senior advisory role at the Justice Department overseeing U.S. attorneys’ offices.
The wedding will bring together Habba’s Washington circle and Mildon’s international business world.
“The MAGA princess found someone who treats her like the queen she is,” a source close to the administration told The Correspondent.
Princess, indeed. Eagle-eyed viewers may have noticed the whopping rock on Habba’s finger during an appearance on Benny Johnson’s podcast on Aug. 31. At the time, she was being discussed as a possible replacement for former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.
Habba has since denied seeking the role and is now out of the administration, though she remains an influential figure in Trump world.
The four sources who confirmed the Saturday plans did not disclose the venue.
Habba and Mildon did not respond to requests for comment.
